In a move to boost its global expansion, BMS Group has appointed Ali Trauttmansdorff as its new group chief people officer, effective immediately.

Based in London, Trauttmansdorff will join the executive committee and report to BMS group CEO Nick Cook. She will focus on supporting BMS’s merger and acquisition activities, aiming to ensure robust onboarding, integration, and talent management processes for new employees. Additionally, she will lead efforts in attracting and developing new talent, enhancing employee wellbeing and reward strategies, and prioritising diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This appointment highlights BMS’s commitment to strengthening its human resources function as it navigates significant growth, the company stated.

“As BMS continues its global expansion, Ali’s strategic insight and extensive experience in working with businesses across the world, ranging from Asia, the UAE, Europe, and the US, will be invaluable. It is with enormous pleasure that I welcome Ali and look forward to working with her and all the members of the executive group to help us deliver our ambitious growth plans,” BMS Group CEO Nick Cook said.

Trauttmansdorff brings extensive global experience, having held senior HR roles at Goldman Sachs and Rothschild & Co. She was most recently the chief human resources officer for a US publicly listed global wealth and alternatives manager.

“I am delighted to join BMS at this stage in its growth story. The team in London and throughout our many global offices are exceptional, and the culture is truly collaborative. BMS is already showing that you can create an inclusive environment that enhances performance and career development, and I am excited to contribute to this ambitious people-first vision in partnership with our leaders around the globe,” Trauttmansdorff said.
