NIBA has announced that nominations for the Broker of the Year and Young Professional Broker of the Year Awards are officially open.

The Zurich-sponsored Broker of the Year award is for senior practitioners who must have the Qualified Practising Insurance Broker designation to be considered.

The winning broker will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Zurich Classic PGA Tour event held in New Orleans. They will also be able to attend a range of high-level business seminars with some of Zurich’s leading global clients and receive tickets to the world-famous New Orleans Jazz Festival.

Brokers under the age of 35 are eligible for the Young Professional Broker of the Year award with the national winner claiming the Warren Tickle Memorial award and an all-expenses-paid trip to London to experience the Lloyd’s of London marketplace.

NIBA CEO Dallas Booth said of the awards: “Our aim with these awards is to officially recognise and reward the exceptional levels of professionalism and client advocacy in the broking profession and we’d urge anyone in the industry who knows a worthy broker to put them forward.

“Five regional winners in each award will go on to contest the national titles, which will be announced at the 2015 NIBA Convention in Melbourne next September.”
