The deputy CEO of the Australian branch of a major international brokerage is set to spend a night on the streets for charity.

Tony Barber, deputy CEO of Willis Australasia will be taking part in the 2015 Vinnies CEO Sleepout in July for the third year.

With business leaders and CEOs from across Australia and from a wide variety of businesses set to take part, Barber hopes to raise as much money as possible for a worthy cause.

“I’m looking forward to participating in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout again this year – now my third year! I will be representing Willis at the Melbourne event on Thursday 18 June 2015. This is an excellent cause and one that I am very proud to support and personally participate in again.”

Barber noted that in previous years he has been able to raise nearly $30,000 and hopes to add to that tally with another stellar fundraising effort this year.

“With the support of the insurance industry, last year we raised over $10,000 and in 2013 we achieved a bit more, $18,285. I hope we can raise the stakes this year.”
