SPT and Austbrokers
Professional Services have joined forces to win the tender to manage the professional indemnity insurance scheme for licensed conveyancers in Victoria.
The program, which caters for 450 registered Victorian conveyancers, will deliver a comprehensive professional indemnity insurance program including claims and risk management services tailored to the conveyancing profession.
Brian Salisbury, Managing Director Austbrokers
SPT said his firm’s depth of knowledge and experience in establishing dedicated broking systems for the conveyancing profession played an important role in securing the deal, along with its reputation for maintaining that quality service for more than 20 years to almost 400 licenced conveyancing practices in New South Wales.
“We have a deep understanding of how the conveyancers and smaller businesses operate and are able to offer the personal support which is important to this market,” he added.

Countrywide managing director Tim Considine highlighting his firm’s “passion to see the conveyancing profession grow and prosper”. Meanwhile, Austbrokers
Professional Services Managing Director Nick Codd’s professional risks expertise was described as the ‘glue’ which links the firms’ process and risk management solutions.
