Specialist insurance provider CFC has expanded its global leadership team with the appointment of Katherine Nellums and Peter Samuel as marketing director and human resources director, respectively.

As marketing director, Nellums is in charge of overseeing the company's global marketing strategy and the execution of programs aimed at increasing brand awareness, and generating demand for CFC's broad range of specialist and emerging risk insurance products and services.

As the HR director, Samuel will spearhead CFC’s people strategy, including all aspects of talent management, recruitment, learning and development, and organizational planning; and will be responsible for efforts to embed CFC’s culture and brand values throughout the business.

“We’re at an incredibly exciting stage in our journey as a company, and the addition of Katherine and Pete to our leadership team further solidifies our commitment to becoming a global leader in specialist insurance as well as an employer of choice in the London market,” CFC CEO David Walsh said. “Katherine and Pete are high-calibre professionals with deep expertise in their respective fields, and most importantly, they share our passion for the culture and vision of CFC.”

Prior to CFC, Nellums was vice president of marketing at a London-based software company; while Samuel joined the company from a UK-based foreign exchange broker and payments provider, where he was most recently global HR director.
