Challenger brand appoints new partnership boss

A general insurance challenger brand has hired the co-founder of a home loans company to lead the business in developing new distribution models.

General and Life Insurance provider Auto & General has appointed Brad Seymour, co-founder of Wizard Home Loans, to director of partnerships. 

Seymour will lead the partnerships business providing Auto & General products to clients including GE Money, Virgin Money, Macquarie Bank, Aussie, Australia Post, 1Cover, Dodo and Maxxia. He will also develop new distribution models and value propositions.

Seymour, who starts on 1 October, replaces director James Lilley who leaves Auto & General to focus on his property development business Lilleybuild. 

Seymour’s most recent role was head of retail and marketing at Yellow Brick Road.  Prior to this he co-founded Wizard Home Loans where he held the role of director of marketing, responsible for the development of the Wizard brand and its retail product platform in Australia, New Zealand and India. He was also the director of marketing for GE Money when the company acquired Wizard Home Loans in 2004.
