Crawford & Company, a claims management company, had announced the return of Matt Donnelly, an executive loss adjuster, to lead its major and complex loss teams in Victoria and Tasmania. Prior to his departure and eventual return, Donnelly had worked with Crawford for over 12 and a half years.

Craig McLeod, the head of specialty loss adjusting, said the company was pleased to have Donnelly back after his seven-year hiatus.

“Matt has [a] solid track record in leading high performing cultures and I have no doubt he’s going to bring a fresh perspective to our Victoria and Tasmania teams; in my view a new and fresh perspective is always healthy,” said McLeod.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Donnelly began his career in Crawford & Company as operations manager specialist services in 2004. His role involved overseeing the firm’s specialist services division which included GTS, CFAS, liability and construction & engineering teams.

Afterwards, he took general manager roles at Advanced Buildings and Insuraplex, two building companies that primarily served the insurance industry.

“Matt is an experienced and highly regarded adjuster who is well known in the market thanks to his almost 30 years of experience across the industry,” said McLeod.

Crawford also welcomed a new leadership for its major and complex loss area in Western Australia, South Australia, and the Northern Territory as Micheal Dinan was elevated to WA/SA/NT GTS manager/national executive adjuster. His promotion will take effect starting mid-October.
