Elantis Premium Funding has expanded its Queensland office with the appointment of Rebecca Capes as new state manager.

Capes brings to the firm more than 12 years of extensive financial services experience, working across London, Sydney, and Brisbane. She started her career at the investment bank Morgan Stanley in London.

Capes relocated to Sydney in 2007 and assumed the role of national dealer group coordinator for a fund manager. Two years later, she moved into the premium funding space when she worked at Hunter Premium Funding. In 2010, she was promoted to business development manager in Brisbane.

In a statement, Elantis said managing a $65 million portfolio of suburban and corporate accounts for the last seven years helped Capes develop a strong level of business, finance, and insurance acumen, along with the constant delivery of excellent customer service. Capes was named national BDM of the year twice and attended the Allianz Sales Club twice.

“Above all else, my primary objective is to deliver the highest standard of customer service in Queensland,” Capes said. “I look forward to establishing long-lasting relationships and working with my experienced team to fully understand our insurance brokers’ business objectives and funding goals. I'm committed to supporting my team and achieving further growth for the Elantis business.”
