Family-run insurance brokerage Whitbread has launched a life insurance offering, as well as unveiling a new website and tagline.

Critical illness cover, income protection, life insurance, shareholders protection, and total and permanent disability are now available under the Whitbread Life brand, which is a corporate authorised presentative of Affinia Financial Advisers Limited.

The new arm will be headed by Michael Giansiracusa, and is said to be in response to client needs.

Whitbread said of the new business venture: “Like many insurance brokers we focus on the now, and talk about protection and peace of mind. However we’re also about engaging in a different quality of conversation and relationship that looks to the future.

“Whitbread Life responds to the needs of our clients by providing prudent wealth management solutions and protection.”

The brokerage has also given its website a fresh new look and tagline ‘empower your vision’.

Director Claire Whitbread, who has led the brand evolution, said while the company has a proud history, some things have changed as well as the market.

“There is increasingly greater competition from traditional and new sources,” she said. “This brand refresh is about providing clarity and consistency to our people to ensure they continue to meet the needs of their clients.”
