A Brisbane-based general insurance authorised representative has become the first Adviser Practice to sign up to Resilium Insurance Broking (RIB).

Goldsworthy Investments, a family owned business, is one of the most successful advisers in the national Resilium network, having won multiple awards for its GWP growth in the past two years.

Launched in August, RIB is aimed at providing Resilium’s network of Advisers with greater access to general insurance products and simplified support systems. Resilium is a member of Steadfast, so Resilium Advisers will have access to Steadfast systems, partners and underwriters.

RIB Managing Director, Greg Arms, said that RIB makes it easier for Resilium Advisers to provide “complete service” to their customers. “It’s a one-stop shop,” he said. “No matter the insurance needs of their customers, Advisers can find appropriate cover through Resilium or RIB.

“Advisers will have access to a dedicated and experienced team to provide broking expertise and placement support. This will simplify the process of securing the right cover for customers. They will also benefit from having the backing of the Suncorp Group’s support systems and infrastructure.”

On joining RIB, Kate Greaves, General Insurance Manager, said, “…this relationship with RIB will ensure we continue to offer superior performance to our clients.

“RIB offers innovative and exciting new opportunities to help us provide quality advice to our clients. Services such as training, risk awareness and industry contacts will ultimately be of great benefit to our current and future clients when they require insurance and personal protection.”

Speaking about Goldsworthy’s decision to sign up, Mr Arms said, “To have such a successful and innovative business be the first to join RIB is a strong vote of confidence in this model and the benefits it will provide.”
