FM Global scoops Australian Mansfield Award

A global commercial and industrial property insurer has been recognised for its high level of corporate property insurance claims service in the Australian market.

FM Global bested Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, Liberty International Underwriters, and QBE for the Gold Mansfield Award in claims handling for the corporate property and casualty category.

Also recognised for their claims excellence were Chubb Insurance for personal lines, GT Insurance and National Transport Insurance for specialty, and Allianz Australia for both SME property and casualty and overall excellence in claims categories.

Award winners were determined using data from LMI’s claims comparison statistics, Financial Ombudsman Service, and surveys from suppliers, customers, and brokers, who rated insurers on their speed of service, proactivity, accuracy, and fairness.
