Gallagher Bassett has deployed furry reinforcements to Victoria Police, to help them bring comfort to children experiencing traumatic situations.

The new batch of Gentle Bears has been delivered to staff operating in the Hume and Fawkner Family Investigation Unit to assist young children that have experienced family violence.

“Our Gentle Bears are a symbol of caring and compassion,” said John McNamara, GB Australia CEO. “We hope our Gentle Bears continue to comfort and support children experiencing traumatic situations.”

GB’s Gentle Bear has been very busy this year, expanding into Western Australia to support young children with disabilities, touring the Northern Territory to support NT Police, Fire and Emergency Services, and even visiting the Jane Goodall Chimp Rehab Centre in South Africa.
