A former Aon Benfield broker has taken a newly created role on Gallagher’s national placements team.
Matthew Hodgson, who joined Gallagher in January as client manager, was appointed to a senior placement broker position, bringing with him more than a decade of experience at Aon Benfield in a variety of roles in London and Australia.
“We are pleased to add Matthew to our placement team as he has the experience and ability to help clients with difficult-to-place risks in an insurance market that is both adapting and responding to evolving conditions,” said Mark Oatway, managing director for placement and insurer market relations at Gallagher. “Matthew has an aptitude for organising and structuring complex risks from a diverse range of industries and will bring added experience to the placement team.”
