Gallagher Bassett (GB) has appointed Michelle Klobas to the new role of client services director for Australia, to be based in GB’s Melbourne office.

Klobas has more than 25 years’ insurance industry experience, including her most recent role as managing principal at Marsh for three years. The highly experienced leader was also national manager of client relationships at GCU Insurance.

In her new role, Michelle will lead GB’s transition from a decentralised client service structure to one national team. She will manage client services across all product lines including self-insurance, workers’ compensation, general insurance, and consultancy.

Stacey Williams, GB’s chief client officer, said Klobas’s “significant market and product experience, as well as her leadership capabilities, position her well to join GB and lead our client services team.”
