Gallagher Basset Australia has promoted David Teall to the newly-created role of general manager of finance within the company’s executive team.

Teall joined GB in May 2012 as a commercial manager, where he supported corporate and acquisition functions. He was then tasked to work for GB’s general insurance, self-insurance, and Australian life operations in Oct. 2015.

Teall’s most recent achievements included leading the successful transition of icare Insurance for NSW general-lines portfolio.

Prior to joining GB, Teall has held senior leadership roles with British Telecom, Fidelity National Information Services (FIS), and Vonage.
