With two insurers recently recognised by Government for their commitment to gender equality, we want to know whether you think the industry does enough for diversity.

    Clearly not. Leadership is overwhelmingly middle-aged white men. Diversity initiatives are usually just lip service that do a little bit around the edges.

    Yes there is diversity.
    But not equality.
    Females are in the main employed in support roles and even at senior levels they are the more junior of the senior level.

    My boss does not hire young women because they will 'get pregnant' and take maternity leave. Whenever I ask to see him about something it is the first assumption they make about me as well, and that's just the least of it.

    Diversity has nothing to do with the discrimination that I get subjected to here.
