An industrial lines insurer has recruited an ex-Chubb leader as a dedicated lead underwriter in Western Australia.

David Gibbs, former national property manager for Australia and New Zealand at Chubb, has been appointed underwriting manager for Western Australia, bringing with him more than two decades of industry experience in property, energy, and technical lines.

“Western Australia is a very important market to us, and I am thrilled that we are now represented locally closer to our brokers and clients,” said Stefan Feldmann, regional head for ASEAN and Australasia and managing director of HDI Global SE Australia. “With David Gibbs we now have a seasoned lead underwriter dedicated to the WA market.”
