Insurance Business has released its Global Best in Insurance 2022 report, which recognises the insurance award winners from all its special reports in 2022.

Among last year’s winners was GT Insurance, which earned a gold medal for commercial motor at Insurance Business Australia’s Brokers on Underwriting Agencies 2022 report.

In an interview with Insurance Business for the Global Best in Insurance 2022 report, Greg Walsh, general manager corporate services/general counsel at GT Insurance, shared what made the underwriting specialist a well-established brand in the general insurance market.

“By placing a high focus on personal service, attention to detail and encouraging a value of fairness in all our dealings, GT Insurance has become a well-established brand in the general insurance market,” Walsh said. “[An] award recognises the valued contribution of our team, who work diligently with our customers to explore their needs and deliver truly tailored solutions.”

For over 25 years, GT Insurance has provided tailored insurance solutions for Australia’s transport and heavy motor industries. The value of fairness is central to its decision-making processes and interactions with staff, policyholders, brokers and service providers. Fairness anchors its company culture, with an ethos to provide personal support, flexible working arrangements, and career development opportunities.
