Organisations have been shuffling their employees or undergoing organisational change amid the COVID-19 crisis, and the Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) is not an exemption as it welcomes four new directors to its board.

The ICA announced the new board directors during a board meeting held in Sydney and online:

  • Frank Costigan, interim managing director at QBE Australia
  • Tracy Green, group executive insurance at RACQ
  • Jarrod Hill, country president for Australia & New Zealand at Chubb Insurance Australia
  • Ralph Ronnenberg, managing director of Munich Re Group in Australasia

The ICA board also accepted the resignation of outgoing IAG Australia chief executive officer Mark Milliner. It also ratified the membership application of the Australian branch of HDI Global Specialty CE, which writes business insurance cover of commercial motor, fire & ISR, marine, aviation, professional indemnity, public, and product liability. The ICA now has 58 member companies.
