ANZIIF has announced that the 12^th Australian Insurance Industry Awards are now open for nominations.

Taking place in Sydney on 19^th August, the awards provide the opportunity to celebrate and recognise both individuals and companies who have excelled in the industry over the previous twelve months.

This year, three new categories will also be eligible for submissions bringing the total awards available to 16.

The new categories have been announced as Direct General Insurance Company of the Year, Professional Services Firm of the Year and Young Insurance Professional of the Year.

Speaking at the launch of the submissions period, ANZIIF CEO Prue Willsford, said the awards offer the industry a chance to celebrate the great achievements of the past year.

“The Australian Insurance Industry Awards are an opportunity to bear witness to the great achievers in our industry and to celebrate being part of a vibrant professional community.

“Each year we see more and more enthusiasm and support for the Awards, demonstrating that this is an industry that strives for excellence.”
