Insurance Brands Australia has announced the promotion of Scott Leis (pictured above) to CEO. A media release said Leis has led the firm’s Insurance House broking business since 2019 and “expanded its footprint across regional and metropolitan Australia.”

“The opportunity to unite our businesses in delivering the best client solutions and providing opportunities for our people to develop personally and professionally is what drives me and will guide how we position ourselves in the marketplace,” said Brisbane based Leis.

Insurance Brands Australia is a group of insurance advice and distribution businesses, primarily brokerages and authorised representatives (ARs).

The release announced other appointments within Insurance Brands Australia. Danielle Ritchie is now chief operating officer, Ben Brookman becomes chief people officer and Rob Currenti takes on the general manager role previously occupied by Leis.

Former managing director Jay Fereday remains with the business in a consulting capacity, said the release.

Insurance Brands Australia is part of the Steadfast network of brokerages.

“With the strategic shift of the business moving to a broker-centric approach, Scott Leis emerges as the natural successor to assume the CEO position,” said Steadfast CEO Robert Kelly in the release.
