Insurance Business announces Australia’s elite brokers for 2023

Insurance brokers are the matchmakers of the industry, working on behalf of their clients to find the best policies in a crowded marketplace – they couldn’t be more important, but it takes the absolute best to stand out in a competitive environment.

Now, Insurance Business Australia (IB) has completed its annual list of elite brokers by objectively ranking the best-performing insurance brokers in Australia – not just those with the biggest portfolios or the largest number of clients.

The IB team required brokers to send their information and details of a contact who could verify those figures. The criteria included the following:

• Number of policies written;
• Total revenue;
• Revenue per policy;
• New clients;
• Total new client revenue; and
• Revenue per new client.

The IB team ranked the brokers on each of these measurements, with the sum of their rankings calculated to determine their final placement on the list.

• Dean Kennedy, Cruden Read
• Vishal Kapoor, McLardy McShane Kapoor

• Luke McMahon, Bespoke Insurance Group and First Nations Insurance Group
