ACE Group has announced a double change in its Australian property team.

Kristy Humphries has been promoted to property underwriting manager – Tasmania and Victoria, while Adrian Habils will replace Humphries as property underwriting manager – Queensland.

Humphries has “excelled” in her work in Brisbane, according to a statement by the company, and will take her proven track record and expertise to her new role based in Melbourne.

Hablis has progressed through the ranks at ACE Group from his first position with the company as a property underwriter in 2008 to his former role as property underwriting manager for South Australia and the Northern Territory.

John French, country president for ACE in Australia and New Zealand, said the promotions highlight the career opportunities that ACE is able to present its staff thanks to its standing within the insurance community.

“When it comes to industrial special risk insurance for large commercial properties, ACE is one of the most trusted names in the industry.

“Brokers and clients clearly value the professionalism and expertise of our Property Underwriters,” French said.

“The appointments of Kristy and Adrian are further examples of career development in our talented team.

“They are both highly-capable insurance professionals who possess the business acumen, underwriting expertise and leadership experience required to excel in their new roles.”
