ACE Insurance has announced that it will open a large training facility in Brisbane in February 2013.

The facility, at 60 Leichhardt Street, will serve as a development academy for Combined Insurance, a division of ACE in Australia.

Combined Insurance will double its floor space and improve on the IT infrastructure that it currently has at its existing facility in Little Edward Street.

Combined specialises in accident and health insurance sold directly to customers through a network of authorised representatives. The company claimed it places a strong emphasis on coaching and mentoring employees as well as providing training for the sales agents who distribute Combined’s products.

The focus of training in the new space will include customer service, personal development, business leadership and compliance.

“Training and development has always been the cornerstone of success at Combined Insurance,” said Des Bosnic, Executive Vice President, ACE Insurance Limited & Combined Insurance.

“Our investment in this brand new facility is testament to our strong performance and development culture. It demonstrates our commitment to improving the customer experience and the job satisfaction of our team,” added Bosnic.
