Allianz Global Assistance has replaced Cover-More as the sole provider of travel insurance to travel services company TravelManagers.

Cover-More was the previous provider but as of this week, Allianz Global Assistance officially started selling its travel insurance products to TravelManagers and their network of 400 plus personal travel managers throughout Australia.

“TravelManagers are key leaders in the Australian travel industry and we want to provide their personal travel managers with continued support and reliable customer service,” Allianz Global Assistance chief distribution officer, Tony McGarvey, said.

“We know that a one-size-fits-all approach just doesn’t work for our travel agency clients – you can’t just assume that what works for one agency group, works for all of them – that is why we have taken a lot of time listening to the TravelManagers group and their home based agents, to find out they need. To do anything else would just be arrogant.

“We are excited to be able to provide customised travel insurance options to TravelManagers’ loyal customer base through our new partnership.

“Our combined resources and knowledge will provide TravelManagers’ personal travel managers and customers support wherever and whenever they may need it.”
