A Vero advert featuring the Brisbane Lions and designed to benefit the broker network aired for the first time at the weekend.

Fresh from their victory over Carlton in the AFL’s pre-season final, the Lions go through an impromptu training session in the CBD while puzzled office workers look on.

Star players Jonathan Brown, Jed Adcock, Daniel Rich and Simon Black were all involved along with a dozen others with coach Michael Voss directing proceedings.

Entitled “City Sessions”, it draws a parallel between performance indicators used to measure the Lions’ progress and those of businesses insured with Vero.

“Business obviously has its goals and they are always working towards that one thing. We are exactly the same,” said Brisbane Lion Tom Rockliff.

“Vero’s partnership with the Lions is designed to benefit the broker network by increasing our exposure and predisposing clients to Vero when brokers recommend their products,” Anthony Day, CEO of commercial insurance at Suncorp added.
