International player Capsicum DA announces new director

An international player has announced the appointment of a new director who will be responsible for growing the business in Australia

Specialist binding authority broker, Capsicum Delegated Authority, has announced a new director will join their business and will be responsible for growing the company offering in multiple territories, including Australia.

Daniel Snowden will join the London-based business which provides a variety of services to brokers, MGAs, coverholders and insurers around the world.

Snowden will be responsible for growing the Capsicum offering in Australia, Asia, South Africa and Scandinavia.

Philip Richardson, senior executive director at Capsicum DA, welcomed Snowden to the business and said the move will help the business expand its geographic reach.

“We are very pleased to be welcoming Daniel to the team,” Richardson said.

“His in-depth understanding of multiple classes across various territories complements our existing capabilities and supports our strategy to further our geographic reach.

“He is a well-known market figure and his experience will be beneficial as we develop our offering, ensuring we continue to deliver innovative and bespoke solutions for our clients.”

Capsicum DA manages approximately US$300 million worth of growth written premium in the Asia Pacific region.
