Education provider Kaplan Professional (Kaplan) has launched new insurance courses in response to significant demand from existing and new corporate clients.

The online courses align with the national regulator’s new training packages, it said, and are designed to support new and existing insurance industry professionals who want to expand their knowledge and skills with nationally recognised study.

New courses

New online vocational education courses include:

• FNSSS00018 Life Insurance Fundamentals Skill Set;
• FNS41521 Certificate IV in Life Insurance – Claims stream;
• FNS41521 Certificate IV in Life Insurance – Underwriting stream (coming soon); and
• FNS41422 Certificate IV in General Insurance.

Updated and refreshed vocational educational courses, also 100% online, include:

• Tier 2 Compliance Solution – RG146 Accreditation Program: General Advice General Insurance and Personal Advice; and
• General Insurance Tier 1 Compliance Solution – Insurance Broking.

“We have designed the courses so that individuals learn in an engaging and innovative online environment, which contain a vast range of digital modules, resources, and videos with practical learning outcomes that are immediately applicable in the workplace,” said Kaplan Professional CEO Brian Knight. “The progressive assessments feature roleplays underpinned by comprehensive case studies that encompass client and organisational profiles to enable individuals to further develop their interpersonal skills and put their learning into practice. The learning experience is also supported by live online tutor sessions, where individuals can engage with their subject matter expert and tutor in real time.”

Kaplan also recently launched corporate workshops designed to improve leadership strategy.
