The Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) has revealed that its latest Expo will be held at the Adelaide Oval in August.

The trip to the recently refurbished Oval, which has undetgone a $525 million redevelopment, marks the first time in the Expo’s history that the venue will be used.

The Expo, which is sponsored by Hollard Australia Group, gives brokers a chance to meet UAC members and discuss the latest innovations and products in the underwriting space.

UAC general manager, William Legge, said that the Expo offers the chance to build the all-important relationships that are the foundation of the insurance industry.

“Insurance is a business that requires personal interaction, particularly for underwriting agencies, which offer tailored solutions to meet brokers’ specific requirements,” he said

The Expo, which takes place on August 13, is open from 10am until 2pm and is free of charge.
