Specialist underwriting agency Trident Marine has added to its product line by introducing a new trades package for marine-based businesses and operations.

The marine trades package is aimed at marine repairers, marine dealers and brokerages, marinas, yacht clubs, chandleries and boat yards.

It consists of property insurance, including flood and storm surge, business interruption, money, glass, machinery/electronic breakdown, burglary/theft, liability including marine and on water risks, and voluntary work personal accident.

Trident managing director Rick Wolozny said standard products do not meet the demands of the marine industry, and introduced the facility to rectify the issue.

Trident has arranged cover for marine trades with a Lloyd's syndicate.
