Global loss adjusting firm McLarens has announced a new executive appointment to expand its operation in Australia.

The firm has appointed William Lloyd to the role of executive adjustor in Australia, to be based in Sydney.

Lloyd, who joins McLarens from Cunningham Lindsey, has more than 22 years’ experience in major property and business interruption losses across a variety of business and industry sectors, including computer/electronics, film & television, and luxury goods and hotels.

Martyn Wicht, general manager of McLarens, said Lloyd’s appointment will strengthen the firm’s loss adjusting capability.

“William is highly respected loss adjuster and brings further strength to our team. We are very pleased to welcome him  as we continue to build out our network by hiring top talent in the major and complex loss arena,” said Wicht.

Lloyd also serves as a senior associate through the Australian Insurance Institute (ANZIIF), a fellow with the Australian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA), and a fellow of the International Federation of Adjusting Associations (IFAA).
