New research into natural disaster risk management has commenced this month, exploring the key issues facing the insurance industry.

Launched by Insurance Business, the ongoing survey seeks to identify the areas that are proving the most complex and challenging for brokers with regards to risk assessment, regulation and explaining coverage to clients.

“Natural disaster risk is one area that has been evolving rapidly in recent years in light of a series of significant and damaging events,” said Tim Garratt, editor of Insurance Business.

“We’re keen to find out how brokers are approaching this constant changing landscape – what they’re finding most challenging, and what they think will happen in times ahead.”

Now, Insurance Business is asking readers to participate in the online survey and share their own experiences and opinions.
