Newline Group has announced the inauguration of Newline Australia’s new Sydney office, marking a significant expansion in its geographical footprint.
Alongside this development, the firm appointed Nicholas Beswick as the head of professional indemnity.
Bob Pollock, CEO of Newline, said that the company's expansion strategy focuses on establishing a direct presence in essential markets to enhance partnerships and client engagement.
“Establishing offices in key territories is part of our ongoing strategy to be closer to our distribution partners and clients,” he said. “Sydney represents an important market for Newline Australia, and having Nick on the ground will propel our growth while providing local service.”
Beswick joins Newline Australia with a background of over three decades in the professional and financial lines sector. Prior to joining Newline Australia, he served as national manager of professional risks at Ensurance Australia.
In his role at Newline Australia, Beswick will report to Stephen Mullaly, head of professional and financial lines at Newline Australia.
Craig Rowsell, CEO of Newline Australia, expressed enthusiasm about the Sydney office's launch.
