NZ sex romp a serious matter

NZ sex romp a serious matter A couple whose late night tryst in the Christchurch offices of Marsh New Zealand has sent the social media world into overdrive - but their bosses aren’t smiling.

The two employees enjoyed a romantic tryst in the office at the weekend, inadvertently entertaining patrons of the Carlton Bar and Eatery across the road who filmed and photographed the whole encounter before uploading the footage to various social media sites, Fairfax Media reported.

The photos have attracted thousands of likes and hundreds of shares on Facebook and Twitter.

“The whole pub knew about it and was watching, while they were totally oblivious to it. And afterwards celebrating with wine,” one man posted.

“They should have turned the lights out,” said another.

Marsh CEO Grant Milne said the company was taking the matter very seriously and an employment investigation was underway.

“It’s not the type of behaviour we condone. It’s very disappointing,” he said in the report.

Executives from the Auckland head office had flown down yesterday to help deal with the incident, it said.

I think the serious issue hear is the voyaristic behaviour of the patron's of the tavern. Filming
this and up loading it on social media. If I was one of the couple, I would be consulting my lawyer about what legal recourse is available to me e.g. under the cyber bullying act.
This employment issue (if it is one) should be dealt with privately by the employer.
