ASX-listed Kogan.com has officially launched Kogan Health, an online health insurance service that offers a range of budget health-insurance policies, underwritten by Australian Health Management (ahm), Medibank's wholly-owned subsidiary.

Packages are now available at koganhealth.com.au, with plans starting at $18.10 a week for singles and $36.25 a week for couples and families based on pre-Apr. 1 rates, the online retailer said, adding that “the longer you’re a member, the more you can claim.”

“Our health is the most important thing we have,” said David Shafer, Kogan.com executive director. “Kogan Health is very proud to help Aussies access a simple and affordable health insurance offer. Our aim is to offer these policies to Kogan.com’s community of 8 million Aussies to help them sleep soundly at night, knowing their health is protected, without paying too much.”

The launch also comes with a special offer. Those who avail a Kogan Health policy by Feb. 28 will receive up to $200 off hospital and extras policies (up to $100 for singles) and a $60 Kogan.com credit, subject to terms and conditions, Kogan said.
