Pet Insurance Australia (PIA) has been awarded the 2017 Best Pet Insurance by ProductReview.com.au, a comprehensive online platform that provides consumer reviews and opinions.

The accolade was granted after an analysis of more than 110,000 reviews posted in the last 12 months by Product Review's team of data and editorial experts. Twenty-eight second place winners were also picked from 60,000 items across 75 product and service categories.

PIA spokesperson Nadia Crighton said “the hardworking, pet-loving team at PIA are humbled and honoured” by the award.

“It is a great gauge to know that our clients are happy with the level of insurance we provide, allowing pet owners to concentrate on the well-being and healing of their pets without the headache of financial constraints,” she said.

PIA currently has the highest star rating in the pet insurance section, receiving many positive feedback from pet owners.

“It’s very humbling to read some of the lovely reviews PIA receives on a daily basis,” Crighton said. “Knowing that, in many circumstances, the insurance that PIA offers has actually saved the life of a beloved companion animal is very moving.”
