ProRisk has reaffirmed its commitment to broker education by launching a new webinar series on its ProRisk Education Hub.

From September 2023 to July 2024, ProRisk will roll out a series of webinars delivered by the company’s insurance experts.

The webinars will focus on enhancing brokers’ skills, boosting their confidence, and expanding their product knowledge. Attendees will earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for each webinar, officially accredited through the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).

The webinars are designed to close the gap between brokers and underwriters and enhance industry knowledge. The upcoming webinars are:

  • Product Training: Association Liability;
  • Product Training: Management Liability;
  • How to Bind Like a Pro;
  • Product Training: Professional Indemnity;
  • Product Training: Sole Traders & Partnerships Management Liability;
  • Simple Risk Management for SMEs;
  • Product Training: Cyber & Privacy Liability;
  • Product Training: Public & Products Liability;
  • Schemes and Master Policies Master Class From the Master of Schemes;
  • Tips for Growing Your Insurance Broking Business;
  • 8 Ways to Protect Your Small Business From Cyber Attack;
  • Coverage Analysis 101; and
  • Underwriting 101: Delving into the Dark Arts and Understanding How An Underwriter Looks at Risk.

On September 5, ProRisk general counsel and head of operations Jaydon Burke-Douglas and CEO Hamish McDonald-Nye kickstarted the series with “How to Cross Sell Management Liability and Cyber” webinar, which generated great engagement and extensive positive feedback, the firm claimed.

The next webinar will take place on September 28, with Burke-Douglas and ProRisk senior underwriter for financial lines Vanessa MacDonald delving into association liability. Attendees will learn about the key exposures and how they can structure an association liability policy to suit client needs.
