One of Australia's top life insurers this year, Resolution Life Australasia, has appointed four new investment specialists following the announcement of its new CEO in late July.

Matthew Coleman (pictured, above), appointed as the chapter lead for investment management, is an experienced investor with over 20 years of experience, including at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in global markets and treasury.

Katrina Tran (pictured, directly below), the new senior investment manager for Resolution Life Australasia's investment decisioning chapter, has more than seven years of experience, including as an investment consultant at Mercer.

William Bahramali (pictured, directly below), another new senior investment manager at the company's investment decisioning chapter, has 12 years of experience and previously held investment positions at QBE Insurance and Credit Suisse.

Lastly, Nathan Lau (pictured, directly below), the new investment analyst, has nearly 10 years of experience, including over eight years at MetLife in various investment management roles in Hong Kong and Asian regional office.

John Lucey, CIO at Resolution Life Australasia, said each of the newly hired investment specialists will play a key role as the insurer continues to expand its investment function for its customers.

“As an in-force specialist, quality investment management is fundamental to ensuring we generate strong returns for our policyholders,” Lucey added.

Resolution Life Australasia's investment function has further strengthened, thanks to the recent acquisition of AIA's Australian superannuation and investment business.
