A Lloyd’s backed North Sydney-based insurer has welcomed a seasoned aviation underwriter to its Queensland team.

Greg Leeman will join Sterling Insurance’s aviation team in 2020, reporting to James Emerson, Sterling’s Queensland director.

“Sterling have been writing aviation risks for three years and with the changing market we are in a fortunate position to grow our portfolio,” said Tony Parington, managing director at Sterling Insurance. “We are very excited that Greg will be joining our Queensland team. He will further enhance our technical capabilities and build on the portfolio which Samina Parpia has worked hard to develop.”
