Sedgwick – a global provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits, and integrated solutions – has appointed Kimberley Daley (pictured) as the new head of its professional services division in Australia.

Daley, who joined Sedgwick in 2012, is known in the insurance industry as one of Australia’s foremost forensic accountants. She is experienced in commercial insurance, advising clients on complex litigation matters as a financial loss expert and working closely with loss adjusters to drive successful outcomes on major losses. She has also served as a member of Sedgwick’s national leadership team in Australia for the past five years.

Throughout her career, Daley has supported young professionals, establishing a “Women in Motion” program to help up-and-coming female leaders at Sedgwick in Australia develop their business and management skills.

As the new head of Sedgwick’s professional services division in Australia, Daley will oversee the company’s delivery of major and complex loss (MCL) adjusting, forensic advisory services, commercial property adjusting, construction and engineering, cyber liability, and marine solutions to the Australian market.

Diego Ascani, the chief executive officer of Sedgwick Australia, expects Daley to use her experience and influence to lead the company’s wider team as it continues to grow and provide expert and tailored solutions to its clients.

“Under Kimberley’s outstanding leadership, our forensic advisory services division has grown from a small team to over 50 professionals who are now deploying the latest technology developed for business interruption and class action claims,” Ascani said.

“She is an exceptional business leader with a proven track record for creating opportunities for our experts.”
