Brisbane law firm Barry Nilsson Lawyers has appointed Janelle Barron as senior associate in the insurance & health team.

Barron joins the firm after a period working in-house for Suncorp. She also worked as a technical advisor for a national insurer and as a plaintiff insurance solicitor.

During her career, Barron has provided clients with advice in the areas of public liability (including occupiers’ and product liability), professional indemnity and medical negligence.

Barron is also experienced in managing catastrophic claims including matters involving medical negligence, CTP and WorkCover. She has also advised extensively with respect to asbestos related injuries.
