Suncorp has been recognised as the only company achieving gender balance at all levels of business by Equilap’s 2019 Gender Equality Global Report & Ranking.
Suncorp said its female gender representation amounted to 44%, 50%, and 59.7% at board, executive, senior management and workforce levels, respectively, reflecting the insurance giant’s commitment to ongoing gender equality across the business.
“We are extremely proud to receive this recognition as we continue to adapt our diversity and inclusion agenda to reflect our changing organisation and new workforce opportunities,” said Amanda Revis, Suncorp Group’s chief of people experience.
Suncorp also ranked #19 in the top 100 global companies for gender balance and career-progression opportunities and ranked #9 in the financial services sector globally.
