Loss-adjusting firm Technical Assessing has appointed Steve Mann as practice leader for property. Mann will commence his new role on March 5, and will be based in the firm's Victorian office.

Mann, a chartered loss adjuster in both the UK and Australia and a chartered insurance professional, started his career in the UK and has spent 24 years in Australia.

Mann brings to Technical Assessing almost 40 years of industry experience, specialising as an executive loss adjuster in major property, business interruption, casualty, and construction losses, said David Cambridge, managing director.

Mann also gained policy experience working under the UK, US, and Australian/New Zealand global and local ISR and reinsurance programmes.

“His appointment further strengthens our property loss adjusting technical capabilities to the property team, particularly in handling and the mentoring of large and complex losses,” Cambridge said.
