Noel MacCarthy, executive vice president of the Asia-Pacific region for Liberty International Underwriters, has relocated to Singapore from his role in Sydney, it has been announced.

MacCarthy, who has over 20 year’s experience in the casualty field, is relocating to help Liberty better develop in the Asian market.

Liberty view Asia as “a significant growth market,” according to a statement and believe that with MacCarthy working alongside Ben Hissey in Singapore, they can increase their portion of market share.

Mike Abdallah, president Asia-Pacfic for Liberty, said of the move: “While Noel’s Asia Pacific role will not change, we expect his relocation to Singapore to deliver greater stimulus to our Asia market presence and product line coordination and development.”
