Talbot Underwriting Australia
has announced the launch of a new crisis management underwriting team with the hiring of two key members of staff.
Steve Ward and Hamish McKay will join the company from XL Catlin
as a senior class underwriter and a class underwriter respectively.

Australia, Adam Matteson, said that the move will allow the company to serve an important and growing market both at home and abroad.
“We are pleased to have two leading underwriters for crisis management in Australia join us,” Matteson said.
“Their appointments will allow us to service a growing part of the Australasian market and support the growth of our existing platform in Singapore.”

Ward has previously worked in managerial positions at AIG
in Sydney and Brisbane whilst McKay has underwriting experience with QBE
