During the seventh annual Mansfield Awards – which recognises claims excellence in Australia – specialist insurer Vero swooped for the Gold Mansfield Award for Claims Excellence award for the fourth year in a row. In addition, the team was recognised with the SME Property & Casualty Award for the third consecutive time.
In a Press release from Suncorp Group, the news was hailed as a ‘great achievement’ recognising the work of Vero’s claims team and affirming that its continued investment in ‘Best in Class Claims’ is resonating well with brokers and customers.
Luke Whenman, head of commercial property and specialist claims at Vero, who accepted the awards on behalf of the team, says he’s proud of the commitment they have shown to delivering a market-leading claims experience.
“It’s an honour to receive these awards again this year and shows the progress we’ve made towards our vision to deliver a Best in Class Claims service,” he said. “To receive this award from our fellow industry colleagues and brokers is a huge endorsement of our ambition to deliver an efficient and seamless claims experience for customers.
Looking at what’s next, Vero highlighted that it will continue to strengthen its claims handling capability and relationships with its broker community, in line with the group’s ongoing focus on growing its commercial portfolios.
