Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) took the silver medal in the 2023 Insurance Business Australia (IB) Brokers on Insurers awards.
The company also took silver medals for premium stability, tunaround times (claims), and turnaround times (new business) and gold for product innovation – some of the factors that brokers deemed most important when working with insurers.
Ben Hissey, senior vice president of LSM, shared with IB what made the company stand out among its competitors.
“It's about flexibility, understanding, and the ability to listen to what clients need so we can work together to build an insurance solution that delivers mutual advantage,” he said.
Hissey emphasised that the LSM team is committed to bringing a high level of product expertise to the market.
“Service and turnaround times are key, be that for the largest and most complex insurance programs in the region right through to meeting the needs of local ‘mum and dad’ horticultural businesses who equally rely on our coverage,” he said.
