The Asia-Pacific captive practice of a global advisory, broking, and solutions company has received an inaugural award.

Willis Towers Watson scooped the Captive Consultant Award in the inaugural Asia Captive Awards 2018, recognising the emerging market’s captive insurance and risk management industry.

The judging panel noted that the company’s Asia-Pacific captive practice leverages its standout, diverse range of expertise, from risk consulting and captive feasibility studies to analytics and employee benefits captive consulting, to provide a comprehensive offering to its captive clients across the region.

“We are honoured to be presented with this award, which recognizes providers of captive insurance consulting services who have demonstrated the highest levels of excellence,” said George McGhie, Willis Towers Watson’s managing director of captive practice for Asia Pacific. “It reflects our partnership with clients, integrating our captive, risk, and analytics and multinational employee benefits capabilities and solutions. We are also delighted that our client, International SOS, earned the Captive Owner Award. Our focus is to combine our local and global analytical, broking, and captive expertise to help Asia-Pacific captive owners maximize the value of their captives.”
