Insurance Business Young Gun Denver Van Gramberg has left Brooklyn Underwriting for a new role at Austagencies.

Formerly marketing and distribution manager at Brooklyn, his new role at Austagencies will see him take on brand and marketing manager responsibilities at the end of September.

Van Gramberg will manage the integration of a number of brands and national marketing initiatives across the group’s portfolio of agencies.

Craig Patterson, managing director of Austagencies, said the appointment will further enhance the team’s expertise.

“Denver’s appointment comes at a time in our evolution with our core brand Sura becoming our dominant brand which Denver will lead.  In addition, Denver’s work with different distribution channels building compelling propositions will aid our specialty niche segments.”

Van Gramberg said he is inspired by the group’s successful past and appetite for future growth.

“This role will give me the opportunity to build on my experience and to keep doing what I am passionate about – finding new and creative ways to engage with the intermediated Australian broker market. “
