has announced that Daniel Fogarty, CEO of general insurance for Australia and New Zealand, is leaving the company this week.
Fogarty “will take a well-earned break and then pursue other endeavours,” the company said in a statement as his tenure with the company comes to an end on September 23.

General Insurance Australia and New Zealand, has been appointed Fogarty’s interim successor while the company search for a full-time replacement.
In a statement, the company praised Fogarty’s contribution to the business, which he joined in 2009, and helped develop into a major presence in the region.
